A farm-spec G-Wagen. Those are practically unheard of in this part of the world. You’re more likely to see a blingy AMG model.

I think I must be the only one on here, and perhaps the only person on earth, that loves the old rugged G-Wagons like this and the blingy new ones.
Yes, it’s possible.

There’s a guy who lives near me with a longer wheelbase 2-door model, but I honestly didn’t know this one existed. It’s 90% blinged out versions.

I’m there too.
Seriously considering one as my next DD, even though it might be a completely illogical and insane choice. Only thing is, I’ve only sat in them, never driven one - gotta change that. I’d take the right private import or an official import, but no bling for me - I want stock wheels etc.

Is that on the Vineyard?

Yeah. Haven’t run into it before so it must be a new arrival.

I like also the old ones. Not of course the ones with a diesel but a 280GE with a manual is in my “buy if a change pops up” list. They are quite rare but not unobtainable.

There are a few older G wagens around on ACK, but surprisingly very few new ones.
People like their Land Rovers here a lot more.
